Description

The GuliKit TT MAX Controller for Switch 2 is a premium wireless controller designed for players who want considerably more customization than a standard gamepad.

Its thumbsticks use GuliKit’s TMR sensing technology and include adjustable resistance. This allows each stick to be tuned for a lighter or firmer feel while avoiding the physical contact used by traditional potentiometer-based sticks.

Four removable metal paddles are positioned on the rear of the controller, while the triggers can switch between longer Hall Effect input and a shorter microswitch-style response depending on the type of game being played.

I would look at the TT MAX as one of the more feature-heavy controller options for someone who plays across Switch 2 and PC.

The adjustable TMR sticks are probably one of its biggest advantages. Hall Effect and TMR controllers are already common now, but being able to change the physical resistance of the sticks gives you another level of control over how the controller actually feels.

The four metal rear paddles, adjustable triggers, swappable D-pad, different stick heights, motion controls, and software-level adjustments also push this much closer to a premium pro-controller setup than a basic Switch 2 gamepad.

The included Hyperlink 2 adapter is something I especially like about this bundle because it can remain useful even when you aren’t using the TT MAX.

If you already have something like a DualSense, Xbox Series controller, or original Switch Pro Controller, the adapter gives you another way to use those controllers on supported systems such as Switch 2 or PC.

That could be particularly useful for someone who already owns several controllers and doesn’t want each one locked to a single platform.

I would just be careful not to confuse Hyperlink 2 with GuliKit’s separate Goku 2 adapter. The included Hyperlink 2 is mainly designed around Switch, Switch 2, PC, Android, and SteamOS. It isn’t meant to make a Switch controller suddenly work directly on an Xbox or PlayStation console.

The TT MAX itself also isn’t compatible with Xbox or PlayStation consoles as a native controller.

Another thing worth noting is that some of GuliKit’s performance figures, including its extremely low wireless latency measurements, come from GuliKit’s own testing. They show what the hardware is designed to achieve, but real-world performance can vary depending on the device and wireless environment.

Overall, I would look at this as a premium cross-platform controller for players who actually plan to use the customization features.

If you just need a simple wireless controller for Switch 2, there are much cheaper options. But if you want adjustable sticks, rear paddles, configurable triggers, extensive accessories, and an adapter that can also give some of your existing controllers more cross-platform flexibility, the TT MAX offers a lot in one package.
